About Ramaa
Ramaa’s Journey
Ramaa Krishnan, born and raised in India, aligned with a spiritual path and purpose from an early age. She began a practice of meditation in 1982 when she met her spiritual master, the renowned Sri Abhiniva Vidyateertha MahaSwaminah of the non-dualistic tradition and continued with her
self-study, adding to her practices along the way.
Her husband's career brought their family to the US in 1998 and she soon began sharing her perspectives and practices with others, helping them manage stress and live their lives more consciously. In 2006 she founded Full Bloomed Lotus Center for Self-Awareness, renting a studio space and expanding her circle. In 2012, Ramaa completed a two-year certification in Analytical Psychotherapy from the Carl Jung Institute, enriching her understanding of the human psyche and weaving Jung's insights into both her work and personal journey.
Guided by life’s own peaks and valleys, Ramaa delves continuously into the heart of spirituality, cultivating and refining her unique approach, integrating a faith that transcends tradition and invites others into a deeper, personal experience of life. During the pandemic she closed the studio, moved her classes online and used the time to write her first book The Yoga of Self-Love: The Sacred Path to Wholeness and Healing through Inner-Child Work. The book is a step-by-step guide to self-discovery and healing, underscoring the power of reshaping our narratives, and affirming that while we cannot alter our past, we can find the freedom to change how we perceive it. Ramaa continues to be a dedicated advocate for conscious living, guiding others on a journey toward a more mindful, intentional, and fulfilling life.
